My wife has a 2001 honda odyssey.
Honda window slipped down into my door.
When the pane of glass works its way out of the regulator it can fall into the door.
Right side regulator is 188.
Automotive windows use a control arm and guide regulator to raise and lower a pane of glass into the door either manually or with an electric motor.
Whether a window is manual or electric it moves up and down via rollers on a track.
The driver s side front door window has slipped down and won t return into position.
Keep the blade parallel to the window to avoid scratching it.
I pulled the door panel off and i can see the cable get slack in it and then tighten up in the other direction.
My 2008 honda pilot driver side rear door window motor failed and the window dropped freely after attempting to roll it down.
The usual problem is that the window has slipped out of its track in the door frame.
My driver s window on my 2000 honda accord fell into the door and will not roll up or down although i hear the answered by a verified mechanic for honda we use cookies to give you the best possible experience on our website.
The average backyard mechanic can repair fallen window glass in about an hour.
If the window is stuck run a thin utility knife between the window and door to remove any blockage then continue sliding it down.
As i was driving my 2005 crv this last saturday the driver s side window suddenly fell down into my door as if i had opened it.

The power window motor seems to be working fine in both directions but it has no effect on the window.
Yep found the part at majestic honda an on line parts dealer.
But by the sounds of it a hinge might of broken down or might of slipped off causing the window to fall.
Or if you just want some professionals to look at it go to any garage for a diagnostic non official ones are usually cheaper and faster.
I d suggest to have a friend who knows about cars give it a look it may be very simple to fix.
