I ve done a bunch of googling and watched some youtube videos but they all either have 1 visible screws 2 a hole that you can press a pin or hex key into or 3 are kwikset handles that you twist and pull.
How do you tighten a door handle.
Take a phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw on each side this will secure the handle.
Unlike the oldest and most common method of attachment that uses exposed set screws to fastened the doorknob to a threaded spindle the screwless.
Remove the handle with hidden screws.
Levers handles slide onto a rod assembly with a set screw.
That s it you re done the handle has been removed and placed back on your door nice and snug.
To depress the detent use the end of a metal paper clip or the point of an awl inserting it into the hole and pressing the detent down while twisting and removing the door handle shaft off the spindle.
For an entry door handle with screws that are not exposed.
